Charitable Dinner at the First Church of the Nazarene

On January 22, 2000, Kansas City First Church of the Nazarene had a charitable dinner and a Russian musician concert. During dinner we presented copies of the December issue of our newspaper to Senior Pastor Jesse Middendorf and Mrs. Gloria Willingham. They were impressed with our mission and activities. After dinner Pastor Middendorf and Mrs. Willingham opened the concert with a short introduction. Russian guests played and sang a few gospel songs in Russian and English. They were preceded by seminary student and musician from Taiwan.

Our visit at the Nazarene showed us that American people have a great interest in Russia, its people, and culture. Many people from different churches are preparing themselves to visit Russia with missionary purpose and some of them come to our club to experience Russian-speaking atmosphere.
