Community Life: Guests of the Celebration

Celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the New Jewish Community Campus

Jewish organizations located in the building of the Jewish Community Campus celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Campus on December 6, 1998. Many people visited this event. The majority of the building is occupied by the Jewish Community Center.

After the remodeling, the most impressive is office of the Midwest Center for Holocaust Education (MCHE), especially its front entrance made from glass, marble, and gold-plated aluminum frames.

Our newspaper was distributed free of charge to the guests of the Jewish Community Campus during the celebration. Rabbi Morry Schwartz of synagogue BIAV was the first community leader who received our newspaper. Copies of our newspaper were also handed to Assistant Executive Director of the Jewish Federation Alan Edelman, picture above, and to the Executive Director of the JCC Elen Court, below.

Always busy Svetlana Sorkin received a copy of our newspaper in the elevator, below. About 500 copies of our newspaper were distributed to the guests of this celebration.
