Russian Community's Life
Life in the United States is hard for all immigrants, either for successful families, who buy quarter-million dollar houses that irritate some native Americans, or for families with minimum wages, who live in apartments. We talk about the local community. Some Russians spend vacations in Florida, Canada, or Israel, some did not see America farther than the Country Club Plaza, where they can walk in the crowd and watch how other people spend their money. Many are in between: sometimes spend vacations in Florida, Canada, or Israel; sometimes spend vacations at the Country Club Plaza.
Two Russians committed suicide after failing to fight chronic unemployment or serious family problems generated because of the immigration. Common problems and their solutions will be discussed in the following issues.
